The Association of Bhutanese in Ontario would like to share an announcement from the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Bhutan in New York regarding Dzongkha language classes for children and youth in North America.
According to the Consulate, online Dzongkha classes are currently available for students in Canada every Friday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM (New York / Eastern Time). The program is being coordinated by Dzongkha Lopen Kinley Wangdi and aims to help young Bhutanese stay connected with Dzongkha language and Bhutanese culture.
The Association encourages interested Bhutanese families in Ontario to explore this opportunity for children and youth interested in learning or strengthening their Dzongkha language skills.
